LOCATION

The Observatory , 11 rue de l'Université is close to the city center (only 15 mn. walk from the Cathedral). Please, have a look on the orientation map of Strasbourg, a closer view on Strasbourg Downtown and a view on the Esplanade Campus.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

• From the train station, two possibilities:
  - take the tram (line A) to "Homme de Fer" and change there to line C (direction "Esplanade") and get off at "Observatoire"; or
  - take the bus #10 (on your right when going out of the train station) and get off at 'Gallia'. There remains a 5 minute walk all along rue de l'Université towards the Observatoire.
  
• From Strasbourg downtown, at 'Homme de Fer' (place Kleber) take the tram line C (direction "Esplanade") and get off at "Observatoire" (this takes approximately 10 minutes).
• From the airport, take the shuttle ('navette'). The shuttle stops at the tram station "Baggersee" (line A): use the same ticket and take the tram towards city center ("Homme de Fer"), change for line C (direction "Esplanade") and get off at "Observatoire".
  A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 23 euros (33 euros at night) and the ride will take about 20 minutes.
