CHECKLIST FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

Manuscripts must be received no later than December 20, 1999 in order to be assured publication in the Proceedings.

  1. Get the LaTeX template and style files for ASP Conf. Series (see below). Note that ASP has changed these files recently. Please do not use old ones.

  2. Prepare your paper following the instructions in the README and papsman.tex files (see below, or look at newpaspman.dvi here).

  3. The page limits are : 4 pages for posters, 6 pages for 10/15 min. oral contributions, 8 for longer contributions.

  4. Check your paper carefully.

  5. Check that you have included an abstract and 3 to 6 keywords (the \keyword command produces no output).

  6. Prepare any figures or illustrations at production size, or provide them in encapsulated postscript (EPS) format.

  7. Identify your LaTeX copy by using the last name plus the first name initial of the first author, e.g., SurnameI.tex. Any EPS files should be identified in a similar way, e.g., SurnameI1.eps, SurnameI2.eps. Authors with multiple papers will need to indicate this as well, e.g., SurnameI_a.tex, SurnameI_a1.eps, SurnameI_b.tex, etc.

Connect to vizier.u-strasbg.fr (130.79.128.5) by ftp, log in as anonymous, give your email address as a password, move to the directory incoming/cluster_proceedings, and deposit the LaTeX copy of your manuscript along with any computer graphics in EPS format.

(Alternatively, files can be sent by email to lancon@astro.u-strasbg.fr. They should however be compressed with gzip or compress, AND uuencoded, otherwise they are likely to overload our mail system.)

  8. Send a brief message to lancon@astro.u-strasbg.fr to draw attention to your file submission.
