*: "Beer and the Universe" is a concept I have developped that blends astronomy and conviviality. The goal of these voluntary presentations is to discuss a scientific subject related to astronomy while enjoying a pint of beer (or whatever else) in a friendly environment, usually a pub. The topics are adapted to a general audience and no mathematical, physics or chemistry background is necessary. Open to discussion, the disquisitions are meant to broaden the knowledge of the public and present to them accurate and modern results of nowadays research in astrophysics.
